Mornings were tough for me too. I get up early, usually 4:30 or 5:00 as it gives me a few hours of work without distractions, and I used to smoke and have coffee. When I quit it was hard at first. Then I decided to change my routine. I started to make breakfast, I'd sit down and read the paper, do a few stretching exercises, and then have a coffee. The new routine helped distract me, but it also helped me change into a healthier lifestyle.
