March 1st came in like a lamb here in Prince Edward Island but I am roaring because im so proud of ME ..I made it to day 22 .it was a little bumpy for a few days but I hung on and went to the mental health clinic here and got auricular acupuncture (  ear)  if any one can get this done at your local hospital or clinic I highly recommend it ...it has been a God send for me .It helps with addiction and stress , it is very relaxing. I am still continuing my healthier eating habits , drinking cool water and using my fidget spinner when at work,  Hope everyone is having a great day and remaining smoke free. It does the body good ...my breathing has improved alot and I am able to walk a little further than before without getting out of breath.

    Hi dabee,

Congratulations on 22 days smoke free!!!! That is awesome. I hope I can make it that far. I am only on day 2 but feeling good about it :)
You seem to have a great quit plan in order too. Articular acupuncture??? Haven't heard of it but I will keep it in mind for stress, etc. Hope you are having a great day as well and keep up the awesome work!!!! Thanks for being here!<3

Thank you butterflyna. I get the ear acupuncture done at the mental health wellness clinic..it is used for the physicial, mental or emotional health of an individual. First time I went for it I was quitting cannibus and having trouble sleeping..got it done and went home slept like a baby for 12 hrs. They use 5 micro needles to pressure points in the outer ear and you listen guideded meditations.   I highly recommend it.

Hi dabee, thanks for sharing about the ear acupuncture, good that you are finding its helpful. I didn't think to look into it as I have not heard about anyone that has had this procedure done, so good to have your feedback. And congrats on your quit, we are doing this! Here in Sask. we  are having temps in the minus 40s overnite last couple of nights and not much better during the day, so really have to push myself to get outside for fresh air, but need to do that, as it is a great 'mood booster'.Just have to make sure to dress well. Hoping everyone is having another smoke free day! -  m

    Mari_m,

At least you are not going out for a smoke in the -40's.

Kind of weird to look out the window and see all the miserable smokers out there now that we are not one of them. Sad really.
