    Hi tiny2018,

Welcome to Our little community & Congrats to you on the progress you have made.

Quitting this awful addiction is hard indeed! Some things to expect from withdrawal symptoms are: cravings, changes in mood, stress, cough/phlegm, weight gain, concentration & sleep issues.

On the positive side the 4-D’S to managing cravings can help: Deep breathing, Drink Water, Distraction & Delay.

More detailed information about this is on this site under “I’m ready to quit”.

Keep up the good work! One day at a time!

    Hi tiny

    The 4ds are

    - Distract your self from the craving, when it comes, do all you can to get rid of it!

    - Drink plenty of water, juice. As soon you quit, your body stat healing it self, need water to clear all the chemicals inside of you!

    - Discus with someone you know about it! If you know someone confidence is good to talk about it, you might find a lot support and feel better.

    - Delay if you can, when the crave comes try to Hold it until is gone! Sometimes, there is no choice is good to hold it and will go away by no time!
