    Hi,
I am looking for some ideas on how to handle an upcoming challenge.
During the week, I seem to be doing very well, as I don't go outside to smoke, nor do I drive and smoke.   From 7am to 5:15 pm not a puff, and I am handling it pretty well.   (The patch helps).
The weekend will be another story.  I am a person who sticks to a routine, and Saturday morning is cleaning, laundry, cooking, a day typical of housework.  Sunday I tend to unwind and relax.   My biggest challenge is the morning.   Any ideas how to curb the cravings and get my house clean?
    Thanks

    Hi Kellie62,

Congratulations on your success so far! I am happy to hear that you have found a quit aid that works for you. Weekends can be tough for many people and so can mornings. Some have found it helpful to plan for those times while others find even a small change in routine can help. For example, if you are used to getting up and having a coffee with a cigarette, consider changing your morning drink to herbal tea or orange juice. You can try going for a morning walk or doing some light stretches. Some find regular chewing gum or hard candy helps and also drinking cold water. Anything to keep your hands, your mind and your mouth busy!
