Not much time left, quit day is Saturday. I usually spend a lot of my time smoking. I found some new activities I’m going to try. I think I’m a little scared of what it’s going to be like. I think I have used smoking as sort of a safety( as odd as that sounds)

    Hi Tanyat,

Only good things come from quitting. I wrote down my reasons for quitting on post it notes and put them in places I look at for a reminder.

    Wishing you every success!

    Hi tanyat,

You can do this! I understand that making a big change, like quitting smoking, can be scary but know that we are here for you, we want to support you and see you succeed.

Saturday is your quit day – you are one step away from a healthier lifestyle. We are so happy to hear that you are now very close to your goal and you seems well prepared to quit with all those new activities that you’ve planned to try. What works for a lot of people is to find distractions or activities that bring feelings of relaxation, pleasure or enjoyment…or anything that can keep your mind away from smoking: some people like to go for a walk and enjoy fresh air; others like to go to a public place like a shopping mall where smoking is not permitted and others prefer to rest at home and take it easy. Everyone is different and anything can works. You know yourself best – keep doing things that you enjoy and motivate you.

Congrats for taking this important decision that will bring positive changes in your life! Keep us posted and come by anytime to let us know how you are doing.

    Take care
