Hey jlittlefire,
That is freaking awesome! Yahoo and congratulations!
Do something to celebrate this very important milestone.
I’m coming up to my 7th year quit date - March 5, 2018 and I just realized it was coming up and I had forgotten how many years it had been 6,7 or 8!
I definitely celebrated the major milestones with other former smokers on this site, and definitely reminded important people in my life about my accomplishment and ongoing commitment. Do not forget that - this is an ongoing commitment. It gets easier. I finally did it after 35+ year smoking and multiple quit attempts.
NOPE - not one puff ever, was the clincher for me.
I employed multiple strategies, and so far, so good!
I’m grateful for each smoke free day. Freedom from smoking was so huge for me. I love the freedom from smoking I now enjoy.
Very happy for you!
