I just quit on January 01.

2 days in and felt like I'm missing a piece of who I was. The habit stuff - smoke with coffee, while driving, etc.

3 days in and starting to think that I am better than my addiction. I've gone 3 days without a smoke!!!

    Atp:

    That's wonderful to hear, congratulations!

What have you been doing to help get through those rough patches/urges to smoke?

    Keep up the great work,

    Steven

NRT lozenges and spray. Like the spray since I can play with it in my hands as well.

Drinking lots of water. That helps.

Talking to my wife about what I'm going through. She also made a good point to let others around me know as well.

Felt good about myself this morning. As the day goes on the urges to smoke increase. Need to keep occupied.
