Hi the_lady_dada, that’s amazing, that it is just clicking for you this time!  Quitting smoking is a difficult but amazing journey. I literally  thought I was  never going to quit for good.
I smoked for 35+ years and I tried so many things. I agree, we pick up multiple strategies on our previous quit attempts that do work, they just didn’t stick THAT time.
I applied all my of previous experience and combined it with some excellent advice from former smokers on this site, those who were making it work. That was NOPE - not one puff ever! And 7 years later, I remain a non smoker. The dreams about smoking were real and vivid. Your mind, after the physical withdrawal, will do a lot of things to remind you to smoke. Keep going, don’t give up! If you slip, start again. You got this! Like you said, if I did it, it is possible for anyone.
