    Hello everyone

Yup, that's right.... 365 days ago was my 1st day without a cigarette. I remember spending so much time thinking about smoking during the first month - quitting also made me sooo sick! I seriously contemplated starting again just to feel better.
At first my thoughts were all about how much I actually smoked....and then all the places I smoked. And then I realized how much free time I had.. Whoa. After a bit, I realized what I can do without the smoke!
I had doubts about staying quit - but 1 year later woohoo... Still going smoke free. It's a little hard remembering that I smoked for 39yrs, (I'm not complaining by any means) but I'll take it if that means I stay smoke free.
    When there's a will - there's a me
When I was starting to quit, sharing and reading stories really helped. Going back to reread from waaaay back, my stories make me giggle and therefore, I hope to keep posting and making me and others lighten up.
And I'm off to see what kind of trouble I can me into.
Thank you all for sharing your stories with me.

    Nerak47,

One whole year being a non-smoker is so amazing, and inspiring to the rest of us just starting out on our quit journeys.

Congrats on all that you've accomplished.

WooHoo Nerak, Way to Go!!!  One whole year!  You are now a non-smoker!  Isn't it great?  Thank you so much for posting and sharing this amazing accomplishment with us.  It is great to hear from you again.

I'm so proud of you, Nerak.  When you think of all the hell you went through in those early days, somehow you managed to hang on.  And look at you now!

Do something to celebrate this major milestone!  You deserve it!

    Way to go nerak.

Hope you stick around to continue to encourage and share with those earlier in their quits.  It's so inspiring to hear from someone so successful.  You're the proof that the difficult times in the beginning do become easier and persistence will lead to success.

Happy 366 days Smoke-free now Nerak!!  I would like to reiterate the HUGE congratulations on your quit journey!
Reading on how you stuck through the difficult moments and thoroughly thought about your  smoking regimen seemed to helped with your decision and will power. I am so happy that you recorded your journey to not only share with us, but to remind yourself of how far you have come.
Thank you for sharing your journey with the community! We look forward to what this new smoke-free life has in store for you.
