    Good morning everyone.
I am proud to say I have made it one whole week.  Honestly I don't know whether I would have made it the first couple days without my vape but I've already cut down on using it drastically.
Still feeling very confident in my quit and find most cravings past quickly other than a few real fighters that take a bit more effort to ignore and get past.
Onward to another week.  Good luck and stay strong to others on this journey.

Wow look at you. Congrats on 1 week!

The first week is always the hardest. Not only are you dealing with physical withdrawals, you're also dealing with the mental side of not doing what you are so used to doing.

Keep yourself busy and distracted and think about all the benefits of quitting. You're probably breathing a bit better already. You don'y stink like an ashtray anymore. And the money you're saving....

    Good morning you all.

Congrats on making it this far kittie_v! I am glad to hear that the vapour is helping but you are also cutting that back. Although we still don't have enough research on the vapour and the long term effects it has on our body, we do know they are less harmful than cigarettes.

The first few weeks of quitting is the hardest like atp said it's a good idea to have a plan to keep yourself busy and distracted. I like that you are aware that cravings can be dealt with just letting them pass (delay)

Friendly reminder - the other d's are distraction, drinking water, deep breathing, and discussing your challenges with your support system.

One Day At a Time! You can do it!
