Whatever or whoever is doing something with is site better get it done because we are losing our community.

Nobody is is posting nothing. Why don't you direct us back to the old site until you can get this thing working satisfactory.

That is my suggestion. "Good Lord"   😪

I totally agreed that the old site was Better! in speed and answer, support and preparation. I have no choice, I must  adapt to the new one with all that we learned from the old one.

Be strong, be patient and focus in our quit!

    We can do this!

    Hi all

All I know is I quit last June 7 2015, since then I remember 905 smoke free days a bit more. But that is not relevant, I think. The main think here for is to be focus one day at the time!
Because when I remember from the past I sleep! And I want to avoid it!

Smoke free Day's are so helpful, Toady 1 smoke free day
Many safe is Important too. $12
No smoke in my lungs An other day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a wonderful smoke free day

I agree with you mudman.   You know this site better than anyone.  I also feel the same way.  simply the glare on my screen is too bright, and I miss the counter. :(  I however, think we should get back to helping the new quitters, and move on from the old site.  With the new year on the way, we know there will be a lot more people flocking to this site.  However, SHO should take all these feedback and question the web development company, as how these functions were ignored?

    Hi everyone,

Once again, please bear with us. Just because I'm not discussing every move here on the forum doesn't mean we aren't working behind the scenes. These things take time, and this site is only part of my job; I can only do so much. Please try to remain positive, and while I understand your complaints, we have heard them. They don't need to be continually repeated. I will repeat that we will not be moving back to the old site, and the reasons why have been posted in the stickied thread in this forum.

Thank you to everyone trying to keep the focus on helping and supporting new members and old. Change is difficult, but not impossible, as you have all shown time and again.

I'm sorry, but if you simply count the time from when I first loaded this site, to the time it took to get to this post, and then wait for the "REPLY" window to appear... It's gone way past 'acceptable'.

I understand that finances have hampered the realisation of this forum becoming a true and proper place to visit, but that really doesn't help matters.

...I'll check back in every so-often, but this has become far too painful to participate...

You see a post from some new member, and you want to respond with a positive message of encouragement, but by the time the page finally loads, you're already getting irritated to the point of being no help at all.  That's NOT what this forum was supposed to be all about.

KEEP THE QUIT everyone - but it'll be without any posts from me and several others here, at least until the server SQL speeds have been corrected.

    - Your QUIT buddy, Jim.

    Wow!!

....I clicked on REPLY....Waited 25+ seconds...and the dialog box finally opened to allow typing.

I see nothing has been fixed yet.  This makes me sad.
It's unfortunate to consider how many 'newcomers' have arrived at this forum, only to be presented with this disappointment of a site.

As promised, I said that I'd check back in every so-often, but this has become far too painful to participate...

    Good Evening,

Just a reminder that if you have concerns about the site, your experience using the site or any technical concerns we would encourage the use of the "Contact Us" option. You'll find this option if you scroll down to the bottom of the home page.

Your message and/or concerns will be looked at much quicker than if concerns are posted in the forums, as they may be missed.

We strive to keep our forums a supportive community for all who are quitting smoking, interested in quitting or looking for a few people to share the journey with them.

Also, feel free to reach out to a Quit Coach by calling us at Smokers' Helpline 1-877-513-5333.

    All the best,
