Wow, just realized that 2 years smoke free passed by for me on January 01.
    I can't believe I missed that date.
It seemed like such a big deal counting the days I was smoke free.
Such an accomplishment to get to 1 week, 1 month, 1 year.
Now here I am 2 years later and I don't even think about smoking so much anymore. That is not who I am anymore.
Funny how for so many years I tried to quit and always went back to smoking, usually within the first week. I honestly never thought I'd be able to quit long-term. Yet i did it.
Had my last smoke Dec.31.2018. I went cold turkey after smoking on average a pack a day for over 30 years.

    Hi atp,

WooHoo, two whole years smoke free!  Way to go!  Doesn't the time just fly?

Yeah, at the beginning, every hour, every minute counts.  You can hardly imagine being able to break free.  But once you get to a certain point, you are basically home free, although you still have to be diligent.

I am so happy for you, atp!  You did it.  Congratulations!

    ATP,

It's so nice to hear you say, "That's not who I am anymore." I remember how hard you worked to get to this point, and all the thought and dedication you applied to get to where you are today. Congratulations!!!

Hey atp, a big congrats to you on your 2 year milestone!! Doesn't it feel great? I remembered when I first heard from you as I was brand new also, and really struggling with my quit. Your posts definitely helped get me through some of those rough times. Thank you for being there! And Happy New Year - m
