    Hi everyone ๐Ÿ‘‹
First of all.... congratulations to everyone who has quit, or is trying to quit. I'm only 9 days into my quit journey, and I almost caved today. I couldn't have picked a more stressful time to quit, because my mom is very ill right now with Lung Cancer. Guess that's what really gave me the push I needed to quit. Anyway, had to take her to an appointment in Scarborough today, and I'm not fond of the 401, traffic was nuts, and it was a long day. After taking her home, I was craving a cigarette so badly, and on my way home I thought I should stop and get a pack. The only thing that stopped me was day 4 of quitting was awful. I felt so crappy, and was sweating like crazy, so I just came home with no extra stop. I'm relieved I didn't cave, and guess I just wanted to share my experience.

    Hi Dogmother,

Congratulations to you on 9 days smoke free! Despite challenges you've faced, you've still managed to remain quit. That's something to be really proud of.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I look forward to reading more about your journey.

Congrats on 11 days. That is great. Just take it one day at a time. It does get easier the farther along you go. I found this forum really helped me. Keep on posting and reading other peoples stories

Thanks jb63 for the support! I find this forum does help, and reading the different stories, provides different insights on how people cope, and go about quitting, or staying quit. I actually went out and bought a bike today ๐Ÿ˜„ I always enjoyed riding, but haven't done it in years, and figured it would help with fitness, plus keep me busy at the same time. I bought my last bike at Consumers Distributing....if anyone remembers that store.
