   Today is 5 months   It feels good to be able to say that. This month has not been too bad. Each month gets easier a few times I really wanted one and started to convince  myself one would be ok then quickly remembered NOPE. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of your summer.

   Hi jb6.  Great job . You are sure nailing your quit. You are showing everybody how it is done. Yes the urges keep coming, but they do get less and easier  to handle. NOPE works for me also , Have a great smoke free summer and on to number 6.

   WooHoo jb63!  That is quite the accomplishment, and you should be really proud of yourself.
   
   Yes, the addiction will raise its ugly head from time to time, but that will happen less and less as time goes on.  Always remember where you started from and where you are now.  And keep saying NOPE.  It really works.

   Well done jb63.... ur really coming along on your journey and have come so far. I remember you just starting out, doesn't seem that long ago. Just stick with NOPE. Dont do what I did and fall off the waggon at 6 months cos its very hard to not slip into a relapse and you feel so guilty and ashamed. I was allowing myself to smoke when I was drinking and suddenly I was drinking every evening to make excuses. Today that came to an end... patch on and Im back at it again. Never give up quitting right?

   Thanks Dublinguy. I have read alot of your posts over the last 5 months and they kept me going  so keep on quitting and NOPE

   Im glad those posts helped you... I was on here everyday all day at work checking for stories and looking for support and the site really helped with that. Made some new friends as well along the way and we are like a big family here... Think Ill be logging in for a while to come.

   Today is 6 months🎉🎉
   I really can’t believe it been 6 months. Time has gone by so quickly. A lot has happened in that time. I have 2 new grandchildren and have been enjoying my first granddaughter. It is so much nicer being a non smoker around everyone and I have so much more energy 
   this last month has been a bit harder at times. But I’m sticking with NOPE.  Enjoy the last days of summer everyone and keep on posting

   Six months! Mazel tov for each and every day, jb63, and for your two new grandchildren! You must be feeling proud in so many ways, and that extra energy will help you to keep up with the grandkids once they start running around!

    Today is 7 months 😃😃
    it’s hard to believe it’s been 7 months. This last month has been pretty good. I can go long periods of time without even thinking of a cigarette 
    I am sticking with NOPE.  
    Enjoy this beautiful fall weather Onto month 8

    Good morning everyone 
    Today is 8 months. Wow. I can’t believe it. I’m feeling good and enjoying being a non smoker. I’ve being enjoying a lot of time with my 3 grandchildren. I have so much more energy for them now
    Sticking with NOPE

    Today is 9 months. I can’t believe I’ve made it this far. It feels great to be a non smoker. I am looking forward to the holiday season with my family. Great to see other stories. I always remember NOPE

    Today is ten months 🎉
    I am feeling really good.  Really enjoyed my Christmas holidays being smoke free.

    Today is 11 months.  
    I can’t believe I’m only one month away from one year. It has not been easy. But definitely gets much easier as time go by
    I always use NOPE
    Keep on posting. I come on this site often and like to read other peoples stories
