Hi lesleyaf,
Thank you, but it’s no walk in the park, quitting smoking is hard work. Sounds like you are doing some serious hard work yourself by being committed to your quit, so hats off to you! Honestly it’s one day at a time for me too! Some of the things that helped me & still do is keeping busy with work, exercise & drinking lots of lemon water! Exercise helps with keeping you busy, giving you some happy natural feel good medicine & helps you in maintaining your weight or at least trying to! Drinking lots of water helps to detoxify your system, subsides the cravings & helps your to feel better! I was never a water drinker until I quit smoking, now I love how much better I feel when I consume lemon water. Herb teas are great too! Hope some of what helps me might also work for you! PS I know it may not seem like it right now but the cravings do get less over time, your getting there, keep going!
