Hi whitetaildreamer,
Wow, 30 days smoke free. Good for you. You should be really proud of yourself!
You're right. It is really hard at the beginning, no question about it. But who wants to go through that kind of hell again? Once you get past those first few days, you might as well persevere so you don't have to experience that again.
I bet at this point, you are starting to reap the benefits, like breathing easier and not coughing as much. And whitetaildreamer, it will get better and better with time. Just wait until you can go to a restaurant again. You will be able to relax in a way that you couldn't before, because you won't get those horrible cravings telling you to get out and have a smoke. And travel? It will be such a breeze because again, you have broken free from this addiction, and it won't be a big deal waiting for your flight at the airport, or taking a longer flight somewhere. The freedom that comes with being a non-smoker is awesome.
Treat yourself to something nice, whitetaildreamer. You deserve it. And remember NOPE, Not One Puff Ever.
