I am now one full week smoke free.  I am using the lozenges. Still having a lot of bad cravings and urges. But i am managing. Drinking juice or herbal tea. I decided to lay off the regular tea and coffee. I also limiting my pop. I got my knitting to keep me busy. I was thinking of taking up a new craft.  I guess it on wards and upwards from here. I wish everyone the best in there quits as well. NOPE!!!

    Hi freedomchild,

Congrats on your first smoke free week!  That is terrific!

I know you are still getting cravings, and I'm not gonna lie.  You will get cravings for a while yet.  But each time you resist, it will get a little bit easier.  What I found helpful was to keep saying to myself, "I am choosing to quit".  Somehow that made it easier to deal with the cravings, because I felt like I was in control.

Keep busy and focus on other things.  You will get there one step at a time.  Believe in yourself!  You are awesome!
