Very happy to have reached the one month milestone! Very determined not to smoke and mess up after struggling this long! I did it cold turkey. I have definitely gained a few pounds but that is okay, I will lose them once I feel confident that I have kicked the awful, addictive, stinking habit for good. It is a long and difficult road and I applaud each and everyone on this site for trying and hopefully succeeding! Good luck to all of us, expecially in this scary time of COVID-19! Stay smokefree and SAFE!

Hi geogimini. Way to go! I celebrated one month smoke free yesterday too, although I am using the patch. Pat yourself on the back, it's not an easy thing to do. Keep on going.

    Hi geogemini,

Way to go!  Hitting that one month mark is a major milestone.  You should be really proud of yourself.

You picked a great time to quit.  With this deadly virus going around, it is more important than ever to keep your lungs as healthy as possible.  Hang tough and remember NOPE (Not One Puff Ever).

One month and one week. Definitely breathing better and still feeling determined! The fear around the Covid epidemic is real. The news is so heartbreaking! I am completely isolated, I don't drive so my husband does all the shopping, he only goes once a week to keep contact with the outside world to a minimum. Please stay safe fellow quitters!
