Quit date 12/06/2023. Passed the six month mark and going strong. I am going on 70 and have smoked most of my adult life. I cannot say I feel any different but I am proud of myself and committed to this quit. I truly have no desire to smoke again. It has been a difficult time dealing with divorce after 47 years of marriage and living alone for the first time in my life. I knew I had to make changes and quitting smoking was the best change I made. It is wonderful to no longer be a slave to that addiction. Reading your journeys here on Smokers' Helpline has been a lifeline. So happy to celebrate with other quitters!
