Behaviour change is a huge part of the quitting process. We have spoken with people who have been smoking for 50+ years, so it is very second nature to them.
Keeping your hands and mouth busy is something we focus on. Some say they feel like they are on 'auto-pilot' and just reach for a cigarette when they aren't actually craving it. I would strongly suggest checking out the "Distractions" section of the forum if you haven't done so already. They have some great posts with strategies to help. For example:
