I live in Southern Ontario and we received our first real snowfall of the season yesterday. While cleaning the car off this morning, I remembered having to pay special attention to the rubber gasket on the driver's window to make sure it was clear of ice and that the window would go down. I don't know how many times I would light a cigarette on the way to work, go the lower the window, only to realize the window was frozen shut! Solution - quit smoking! Now I can drive around with snow on my windows like everyone else, lol! (Disclaimer - I do not condone visually obstructed windows!)
Think of this the next time you are cleaning your car off. Even after nearly 3 years of not smoking, I continue to still find limitless positive attributes to not smoking.
