    Hi everyone,

Today marks my 4th month of being smoke free. I never thought I would quit but I did & so happy to be smoke free, enjoying all the benefits that come with it. Mostly not being around stinky, smelly cigarette smoke & better health. It truly is on day at a time for me & not one puff ever.

I also wanted to say thanks for all the support you all give on this site. I joined 2 months into my quit & still found I benefitted from all postings I read, full of insightful information & support! Hats off to you all in helping me with my smoke free journey!

    Hi Wandam,

Congratulations of being smoke free for 4 month, truly a big accomplishment.
Be proud of yourself for coming this far and don't forget to treat yourself!
I quit before, but never lasted longer then 10 weeks, so today I am celebrating my 2nd month of being smoke free.
It is not an easy journey, everything takes time.

Keep doing what you do, one day at a time

    Lucky

    Wandam,

4 Months!!!!!!!! woohoo and congrats to you!

Amazing how us 'hardcore' smokers are finally able to dig deep and make the commitment to ourselves and quit. And then realizing there is more to life than smoking and realizing how much better we feel overall.

Enjoy your life! Stop and smell the roses (and avoid the stale butts).

    Lucky,

2 Months already. Time flies. A few more weeks and you'll break your all time record!!!
That's worth at least a night out to celebrate.

Always feels good to see other succeeding in their quits too. I've amazed myself by getting to 3 months (longest quit before was a week). And I can really appreciate the sense of accomplishment you and others have on hitting these milestones.

    Hi wandam,

A huge congrats on your four months smoke free!  Way to go!  It's great that you are starting to reap the benefits of being a non-smoker.  Appreciate those moments, because they will help you get through the inevitable temptations that will arise.

Hi wandam and a big congrats to you for being 4 months smoke free!! Quitting smoking is a lot easier when we don't have to do it alone, and  it is so good to hear from everyone.                             Also congratulations lucky and chesk on your 2 month milestones. I hope you do something nice to celebrate, as you so deserve it. This is one tough challenge, but we can do it!  - m

I am a little late to the party, but wanted to join in with congratulations for wandam, lucky, atp, chesk, as well as anyone else who is having success who might be reading this!

Not much to add, except how nice it is to see so many people encouraging each other to celebrate their success! It is well earned and a nice bit of positive reinforcement to celebrate the milestones along the way.

    Woot, woot,
    Efram
