    What I want more than anything now is to make peace with my brothers and sisters.  If, of course, they are agreeable to that.  Quitting smoking is a symbolic gesture.

    Regarding my previous post, I regret to say that it seems we are still at odds and probably always will be.  I give up.

    That's a shame Optimist. I have two sisters and we don't really get along either. Theres no bad blood but definitely a distance. So ur not alone in that.

    Hi Optimist, 

    I'm sorry to hear about the strained relationship you are having with you siblings. I know quitting was a symbolic gesture towards your family. However, I'm curious, do you have any other reasons for why you might like to be smoke free?
