Hi clepage1,
For me, I went through the worst times the first month. After that first month, it's like something happened, and my cravings really eased off.
Now it may be different for you. But just hold onto the fact that it WILL get easier over time. Please just stick with it. If you are like most of us, you probably smoked for years and years. As much as it would be great to just change things by snapping our fingers, unfortunately it doesn't work that way. It takes time for us to adjust physically and mentally. But every day that you remain smoke free, your mind and body make adjustments. And with time, the cravings stop coming so frequently, and when they do come, they generally do not last as long. And in the meantime, you start feeling better and better physically, which helps you to feel stronger and better able to fight back.
Cherish the 3 weeks you have under your belt, clepage1, because that is a HUGE accomplishment! You can do this, believe in yourself. You are changing your life for the better.
