Hi devine,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing your concerns about your husband's smoking. Quitting smoking can be complicated and for some, it may be the most difficult thing that they do.
The most important way that you can help a loved one quit smoking is to be supportive. Let them know that you understand how challenging it might be and let them know that you will be there for them every step of the way.
Remain positive and try not nag. Let them know that you are concerned for their health and that you will be there for them when they decide to quit.
I also wanted to share a link to a resource that you may find helpful: Help someone quit (smokershelpline.ca)
Your ongoing support could be all they need to get started!
