Hi jodi,
You're right. Quitting is no joke, it's hard work. You fight cravings, and have to deal with withdrawal symptoms. You feel unsure of yourself, and don't know if you can really do it. But guess what? You CAN do it, you really can.
Do some deep breathing to help you relax. Keep busy with things to distract yourself. Make a list of all the reasons why you want to quit and read it often. And drink lots of water to help your body get rid of toxins.
You are already 4 days in, and that is AWESOME! Be kind to yourself. You are doing great. Remember NOPE (Not One Puff Ever). If you never take that first puff, you will be a non-smoker forever!
