      Hi Chartippybum,

Your body is fighting so hard it's no wonder you're tired of fighting.  I had a slip on day 17, day 53, and day 64.  The take away is that slipping is part of the journey.  We have to stay one day at a time, and not think that we have to quit forever or else that's too much pressure and we're setting ourselves up for struggles.  But it's so hard to apply it to real life, isn't it?  It will ease up, and not all days are as hard as your today is.  You'll be surprised at the tremendous ups followed by the horrible lows.  But I know you want to quit forever and we can only get there one day at a time.  At your stage, I was only thinkng in half days, or getting over several hours at a time.  There was something useful about it, I could manage that.  So keep your chin up and lets hope tomorrow improves.  And drown those smokes you have on hand asap.  Take Care of you.

    Hi chartippybum,

So happy to hear that you are back on the wagon and feel a little bit better. I’m sorry to hear about the tough time that you went through and I hope that you will have an easier time as you progress through your quit. With your determination and persistence, you can do this! Congrats for all the hard work you’ve done to reach this day!

One step at a time. Take care.
