Hi everyone it's Mud Man here. I just wanted to say hello and wish everyone a happy smoke free life.

I am still smoke free and I'm getting real close to "The 900 Club". Tomorrow I will be at 887 smoke free days.

I am doing okay and I hope that everyone else is getting it done also.

    Hi Mud Man,

It is so great to hear from you!  Oh my goodness, look at you go!  You just keep rocking your quit, it's amazing!  I am so happy for you!

This is month 16 for me, can you believe it?  I feel so proud of what I have accomplished.  And I am ever so grateful for people like you who have supported me while I tried to quit.  I still get cravings sometimes, not often, and not powerful, but still.  But recently I went through two weeks where it was way harder than usual, with no apparent triggers.  The cravings just came out of the blue.  And I had to keep telling myself that I was going to remain strong, and I did.  But I have to admit, it was a bit hard.  Yikes.  How could I be at all tempted when I am so happy being a non-smoker?  I can take a lot, but when my lungs start to throb with that need, it's like a beacon, and it's hard as hell to resist.

But oh well.  I am going to follow your lead.  If you can stay strong, so can I.

I am really proud of you, Mud Man.  Keep the quit, and post on your special day so we can celebrate!  You are an inspiration to me!
