I have been quit for one month now. I started going to the gym and staying there for over an hour each time. I have had ups and downs. Ive saved a lot of money and bought myself some nice things. I have cleaned out my room my jackets my car of smoke smells. I have been eatting healthy and drinking lots of water. I have had my confidence come back and i am proud of myself . I still take it day by day and i have been dealing with some stress and the blues. I have a trip coming up i am excited for and i just wanted to thank you all for your support and kindness. I couldnt habe done it on my own. Heres to another smoke free day!!

    Congratulations Chartippybum!

Nice job being smoke free for a month. Getting everything washed fresh and clean of the smokey smell is a very good idea. Your rewards are well deserved. Enjoy the trip!

    Hi chartippybum,

I can't believe you have been smoke free for a whole month now.  Congratulations!  You are awesome!  I agree with eagerquit.  It is important to wash everything and get rid of the stench of smoke.  You are starting a whole new chapter of your life, and everything should be fresh.

And oh my gosh, you have a trip to look forward to!  And you are no longer a slave to your addiction.  So you won't have to worry about how you are going to manage at the airport or on the airplane for such a long time without a smoke, because now you are free.  Trust me, you will notice such a difference.  It was so much easier for me to travel this time as a non-smoker.  I used to worry weeks before my trip because I was so badly addicted.  This time, I just coasted through everything.  The freedom is mind-boggling!

Yippee chartippybum, way to go, and keep it up!  You are so worth it!
