So I’m having a little struggle. I am ok on a daily basis not to smoke BUT …. as soon as I know I will see  my son in law I actively plan to have one ( or 2 and even 3). SIGH!

I realize I make it hard in both my daughter and him by asking…. Neither wants to say no but they want to encourage me. They are in a no win situation and it’s very unfair to them.

There are these hard candies I really, really like… sugar free, somewhat expensive but as a treat for actively NOT asking for a smoke… I’m splurging.

For daily average craves that I can handle I chose to get sugarfree gum and mints. The hard candies are the treat die the real war.

I also keep a bowl of peeled celery in water. I hate the grainy threads and peel and putting in water seems to make them so refreshing. I’m really working hard not to replace nicotine with pounds…

    Any tips are welcome!

I hear you..Seeing people that smoke can be hard..I always have some ice water with me ..I drink it through a straw...I helps curve some of my appetite. Getting out for some walks may also help..I wish you the best of luck..Keep saying NOPE..it really does help me..Not One Puff Ever...
