I am scared to death of what is to come. I have set a quit date so haven't done it yet, but it is all I think about!

    I quit today.

so far, the most frustrating is the forms that don’t work on this site.

they probably wonder why nobody finishes the questionnaire, it’s because it quits part way through the

    Hi annemac,

First of all Welcome to our little community! And yes it is scary and extremely difficult to quit smoking. I smoked a pack a day most of my life & never thought I would ever quit. I’m now working my 4th quit & it is hard for sure, it is totally one day at a time. The fact that you are making the effort to set a quit date shows your determination that no matter how scary it is you want to do this, quit! I’m rooting for you! You can do this annemac

    Hi tony,

Welcome to our little community & congratulations on quitting today!
I agree so frustrating filling out forms, only to get stuck because of technical problems. Hopefully you will be able to get it all worked out soon!

    Hi annemac,

I know the thought of quitting can be scary, but really, what do you have to lose?  Give it a shot, you may surprise yourself.

Becoming a non-smoker is a life changing event.  Your health will automatically improve.  You will feel better and smell better.  You will find that you have a whole bunch of extra time on your hands, time that you used to waste smoking.  And when you quit, you may find it leads to other changes, such as paying more attention to your diet, or starting to exercise more.  It is actually kind of exciting to give yourself a second chance and reinvent yourself.

I wish you the best of luck.  Let us know how you are doing.  We are here to help you.

Well, I made it through 1 day, and cheated, made it through 2 days and then bought a pack.
Tried again but didn’t make it through a day

    so, I’m starting again
