Ok so here I am again. I can’t remember what attempt number this is. I’ve been smoking for 40+ years. I’ve tried to quit several times. I have managed to cut down a lot over the past few years. I smoke about a half a pack a day, down from a pack a day.
My husband is a smoker, and is on the path to quitting. He is using Champix. I tried Champix, but it upset my stomach so I’ve decided to try the patches again. I think it will be easier with him quitting too!
My actual quit date is tomorrow. 🙂

    Hello stomper,

Welcome back! Sounds like you have had some success with reducing your smoking and you are ready to try quitting again, that's wonderful news!

Sometimes it can take more than one attempt before you quit for good. It's very positive that you are trying again. With each quit attempt, you are learning more about what works well and where you may need some more time planning. You are learning each time, building confidence and adding strategies to your toolkit.

It's great to hear that your husband is also trying to quit smoking. You can support each other throughout the journey.

    Wishing you much success!

    Warm regards,
    Karen, Quit Coach
