Congratulations on your two smoke free weeks. That really rocks!
It sounds like you are doing everything right. Avoiding triggers (alcohol), keeping busy and setting small goals. I really like the idea of setting manageable goals. It helps to keep you motivated, rather than feeling discouraged. I am now trying to lose some of the weight that I gained since I quit two years ago. So I am also counting steps. But for me, 8000 steps a day is awesome. And I am going to have to give up alcohol, too. Sigh . . . Oh well, you know what they say. No pain, no gain. It will all be worth it in the end.
