   Hello,
   
   I started one tablet a day of champix on Tuesday, and today is the first day of 2 pills per day. I woke up this morning with welts on my body, similar to an allergic reaction. Cannot be sure it is the champix but nothing else comes to mind and was suggested I stop and see if it clears up. Anyone else have the "allergic reaction" look? Thanks, Renzo

   I do not know but I will go to see My Doctor, maybe an allergic or else?Is good to consult your Doc..

   It does sound like an allergic reaction. I would definitely go see a doctor.

   Sorry to hear you are having such symptoms!
   
   It's always a good idea to check right away with your Pharmacist or Doctor if you have any concerning side effects when starting a new medication. Hopefully your symptoms are temporary!

   My name is Dawn 
   Iv been using champix for 4 months now , my doctor put me on another 3 months 😊
   My only side affects were nightmares and felling a bit sick ...
   But with the nicorette inhaler and the gum I'm now an ex smoker for one month now 
   I'm so proud of myself ...
   I just now know I can never touch another ciggerette ever again ....
   I use to smoke 17 packs a week 😥😥😥😥😥

   Everyone's system is unique so keep aware of your body, it will let you know if champix is a good fit.
   
   Mamabear, you've managed past the nightmares and sickness and are just doing great, what a change you've accomplished. Congratulations on one month of freedom!
