Dear Couch. Does natural remedies and nutrition count? I still believe the Lung Cleanse which i posted and followed has made me nicotine free in less than 2 weeks. I can already take deeper breaths. The nicotine is already out of my system i think, or will be in another day. I have no serious cravings. I feel great!
As far as distractions, i have a pile of housework that i left intentionally, and lots of cupboards and closets to go through. A few recipes i want to try. I try to remember to drink water as often as i can. I plan on mashing cocao with banana as the sweetener to boost my mood (dopamines) and still keep my weight down.(keep like Little treats in the freezer)
I too need some ideas as to little rewards, without involving food. Usually when i finished a chore, like some others here, it was time for reward, to sit with a smoke and/or coffee. I drink more green tea these days. I do need to do more exercise but that is hardly considered a reward! In retrospect, i really don't mind green tea these days , don't mind the taste of my ginger concoction, most of the time i don't even miss smoking these past couple of days. Maybe i will come to like exercising... Just dance on You Tube might be a fun way. I would love to hear other suggestions from the forum. Until then, keep the beast down.
