Hi mina,
Sorry to hear about
your dizziness. Did you have a chance to discuss about this with your doctor?
To experience some dizziness after quitting smoking is quite normal. It is a
common withdrawal symptom. It is usually caused by the nicotine leaving your
body and now, your body is getting extra oxygen like it hasn’t seen for a long
time. It is recovering and repairing itself, and it needs some time to adjust
to this change. Usually, withdrawal symptoms fade and go away with time.
Like eagerquit said,
sometimes using and removing a nicotine replacement product from the body can
cause dizziness as well.
Hang in there a bit
longer and I hope that this dizziness will go away soon. Do not hesitate to
contact your doctor if you have questions or concerns about this symptom.
mina, Congratulations
for all the hard work you've done to reach this day – 36 smoke-free days is
awesome! Your determination and persistence is so great! Keep going strong. You
can do this!
