xxfnikkix,
Welcome to the community and that is a positive step to start your quit. You can go through the quit plan steps, read posts on this site or call the helpline at 1 877 513-5333 to talk to a quit coach.
Most of us have tried to quit multiple times before. All I can say is do as much research as you can on the effects of quitting, aids to use (NRT's, etc) and quit methods, etc. The quit coaches can help with getting you moving in the right direction.
My best piece of advice is you need to convince yourself you don't want to smoke anymore, make a list of the reasons you are quitting, and commit to Not One Puff Ever. Every one of my prior quits fell apart because i thought I could just have a drag or a smoke, and boom I was right back to a pack a day.
