Hi Friends, I just wanted to give you lots of hope. yes we can quit smoking, i used to smoke half a pack a day for 10 years and now fully smoke free for 4.6 years. I never get a single craving anymore, and officially smoke free and my body is as healthy as it could be. It's healthy to a point where I am running 10k marathons in my 43. I never could run even 1 km when I was in my prime or ever before. I am even planning a full marathon soon. Yes we can do this. Smoking is a nasty habit and it's good at tricking your brain to come up with lame excuses to quench it's thirst for nicotine. Yes, must not blame others, society, work, etc, but ourselves for our faults. So next time when you get angry at your partner, or coworker, or that tims employee, etc, and want an instant cigarette to relieve you don't forget its the demon (the addiction) in you that's making you act like that, and that behaviour is not a normal behaviour. Quitting smoking has also immensely blessed me with so much self confidence as I am not afraid to do things anymore or take risks, and confidence. Don't forget if you're healthy you can make as much as money as you want or do what ever you want with your time, if we are not healthy we can't enjoy anything or work hard to the best extent to maximize on our potential. Be brave!! Be strong!! As long as we are healthy we can beat and jump all hurdles in this world!! I have realized this for myself. So quit for yourself. Smoking and alcohol are the nastiest addiction in the world.
