Ok so doing some cleaning I am finding Lighters everywhere thou out  the years of smoking I am finding lighters under beds, in dressers, behind laundry machine, closets, just about everywhere and anywhere all sorts o colors of them. And every time I find one I light it one last time and then toss them out. I realized my relationship with lighters is finally over ! For the past 30 plus years since I was a teen and now 52, I have had lighters Everywhere I went.. for so so many years always thinking " Oh make sure I got my lighter" and NOw as my relationship with lighters is Over for the ..last almost 4 months lol I may only come across some that may still be hiding and it just amazes me how I no longer need such a thing in my life anymore. Those stupid lighters were such a part of the old Lisa that are now not a part of the new me.

    Hi Lisa marie 67

I feel the same, I do remember how many packs of smokes and ash trays, I get rid of it/!
The best think is that we are not longer hearting ourselves!
See the relationship with our bad habits, is a clear way to change your life for the better health!
Congratulations, you are truly exceptional example of change for the better!

    Way to go!

One day at the time, never give up!

    All the best

    Hi lisa marie 67,

It must feel so good to throw out all those lighters.  But you might want to keep one or two in case there is a blackout and you need to light some candles.

Congrats on being a non-smoker for 4 months.  You did it, you broke free!  Yippee!  Way to go, lisa marie!
